Putting it all Together: Custom Components (2 hrs)

Now that you know the platform, how do you put it all together? Watch as pages are edited and created using the building block components, those most commonly used to build site content, to create example content and dynamic functionality with the example site. 

This video provides a short introduction to the custom components section of training. Be sure to watch all the videos in this section as they provide in-depth editing and configuration tutorials.   

Working with Tags (15 min)

Tagging content is an integral part of using the dynamic functionality of AEM. Learn how to tag pages, configure components, and render links to content on your site using tags. 

Working with Assets (15 min)

Learn how to manage your digital assets like images, documents, and podcasts in Adobe AEM in the DAM site administration. 

Working with Pages (35 min)

Deep dive into working with websites and pages. From creating and editing pages from the Website site administration to working with the pages and their features, you learn how to work with pages.

Take the Website administration tour and learn what shows in the left window pane. Explore the toolbar in the right window pane to see what options you have in working with pages. See the columns and understand what information shows to you at a glance to help with managing your pages and site. 

Navigating the AEM Environment (15 min)

This module gives an overview of the Welcome page in AEM once you are authenticated through your SUNet ID. The page tour discusses the navigation links to the various site administration areas of AEM that includes your website and page administration, uploading and managing digital assets in the DAM (Digital Asset Manager) like images, documents, and podcasts, the Inbox that shows workflows in action, briefly discusses Users management, and the importance of Tagging. Additionally, you will learn how to submit a Help Desk ticket from within Adobe AEM, see the link to important information for known issues, the link to help pages and component tutorials, and a link to the official Adobe documentation.
